Red Rooster. Great idea at the time.

There are many inspired foodie choices that one can make in their daily search for dinner, this wasn't on that list. I don't often eat junk food, but too tired and lazy to cook, my partner and I headed off in search of Ming Court which I hear is quite good value for money Chinese food. Except that for some bizarre reason I thought that it was located in Malak. A too little too late Google search revealed we were 3 suburbs west of where we were meant to be. A rare failure on the part of my man-nav.
By now we were a little hungrier and settled on Red Rooster at Northlakes Shopping Centre, ironically we drove all this way when there's another franchise about a minute from home. Anyways, the big beast you see here is The Big Deal. One chunk of chicken, two chicken strips, gravy and in my unquestionable opinion the best fast food joint chips to grace our golden soils. It tasted great initally, then around the half way mark all that heavy, oily, fast food devilishness rears its ugly head. It was a great idea at the time, but inevitably you regret it later on. But it's all good. You gotta punish your body every once in a while to remind yourself why you eat healthy.
