Rapid Café - Chicken Katsu Curry
• By Tuan Nguyen

Ducked into Rapid Café at Rapid Creek Village for a quick and early dinner on Wednesday evening. I went for the chicken katsu curry this time, which is panko crumbed chicken topped with a rich curry. For a measly $10 it had me both stuffed and satisfied. We also had some damn fine tuna and corn sushi, which I have proclaimed to be the best in Darwin. I also think they've tweaked their teriyaki chicken recipe as the coating seemed crunchier than last time, making it somehow even better than it already was. The lady also had a giggle when I tried my hand at speaking Japanese and told her the food was "oishii" (delicious). And indeed it is.
