Galleria Thai delights!

I've been meaning to review two lunchtime favourites for a while now, they are Healthy Noodle Salad Bar and Bangkok Delights in the Galleria.

We are spoilt for choice when it comes to asian lunchtime eats in this town however, I always come back to these two. They always have fresh food on offer which is consistent and tasty. I'm not often attracted to bain maries but Bangkok Delights tends to be a very popular stop with an array of thai curries and dishes to take away. I'm more attracted to the 'made to order dishes' they have on offer. Their noodle soups are as good as any in the city but it is the fried noodles that always take my fancy. In particular, Pad see oeew - fresh, fried noodles made to go! It's meals like this that really make you appreciate made to order meals - these are much better than the noodles you find stacked in bain maries, plus they are made just for you :-)

It's worth the five minute browse in the bookstore while you wait for these scrummy noodles. They have the right amount of meat and right amount of veggies and are always cooked to perfection! If you are after something a little more comforting then I suggest trying the Lard Na - fresh cooked noodles with asian greens and a delicious gravy like sauce, simple food that makes you feel nice and warm inside :-)

Moving next door, you can pick up a delicious noodle salad. I don't have much to say about this other than YUM! Mix it up and you have a healthy taste sensation! If you haven't tried them yet you absolutely MUST - it is a nice alternative from the stir fry and deep fry options and if you are a market goer then you can even get a fresh honey and lime juice to round the meal off!

Mix it up and you have a healthy taste sensation!
