Xtreme Caffeine lunch

I feel sorry for the offices surrounding Xtreme Caffeine - the beautiful scent of coffee as you walk by is absolutely brilliant, teasing/torturing those souls all day long. But then again, I hear just the smell of coffee is enough to awaken the senses, meaning those said workers must be very productive all day long. The coffee doesn't just smell good though, I'm not expert but I believe it certainly brings some awesomeness to the table with creamy smoothness and lots of flavour (Note to self: look up some new adjectives for coffee). You get offered the choice of having it brewed strong, medium or mild. I go for the middle, anyone who goes strong is either Finnish or works for the government. If dining in you'll also get a jug of cold water as well – obviously these guys know it's important to have water with your caffeine.
Vince certainly deserves to be called a barista, watching him work the machine over the course of lunch is mesmerising. He generates a heck of a racket whilst possessing meticulous attention to detail and a deft hand, all the while with a look of pure joy upon his face. This man knows micro foam like it was his identical twin. I have it on good authority that his mother fed him coffee from a bottle when he was a newborn, when self sufficient he drank warm milk from a large aluminium pitcher and finally graduated to ground arabica beans as he grew older. I'm not making this up either.
The food is really second fiddle at Xtreme Caffeine, but that doesn't mean it's bad of course, quite the opposite. The $8 steak sandwich I had on Monday went down quite well, the cheese is awesome and the minute steak with caramelized onion is a winner. The bread is nothing fancy but is lightly toasted to perfection. Straight up and done well. After having just tiny muesli bar for breakfast, I was still hungry afterwards though. So he next day, after having learnt my lesson I went for the bigger brother, the fittingly titled Xtreme Steak Burger for $11.50. Not the prettiest looking thing, but it's got more steak, crispy bacon and all the fresh salad a hungry man willl ever need. Delicious! I reckon they should up the price by 50 cents and use a fancy bun of some kind and it would be a real winner. Other menu items include open grill sandwiches, wraps, burrittos, cakes and muffins all for decent prices.
I have the burrito on my radar for next time. It's getting late and I should be in bed by now, I guess I'll need to get some Xtreme Caffeine wake-me-up-juice tomorrow morning.
