Update: Harriet ExPresso Bar is now Kopi Stop, same place, new look!

This is Jules. She is the epitome of friendliness, and has a ridiculous memory recall.  If you have been to Harriet's enough, she'll start making your coffee order as soon as your toes cross the front door.
She's that good.

Le cafe decor is very much like Jules's disposition, bright and quirky.

The seating capacity of the place gets me every time – somehow they’ve managed to fit a farmhouse style table and multiple cafe tables indoors. It’s kind of close, cosying with your neighbouring human, yet there’s enough space for you to wander in the depths of your private coffee high.

There’s an eclectic mix of bric-a-brac that is unique and downright hilarious. I love going in there and finding something ‘new’ that I hadn’t spotted before.
I won’t spoil it too much for you, you just need to look around next time you pop into the store!

Guys, coffee making is an art.
Coffee latte art should be a university degree.

It's mesmerising how much concentration and effort Jules puts into every single cup. She would make you a latte love heart in your takeaway coffee and put a lid on it. I've witnessed other coffee establishments just slop (maybe) frothy milk in and smash the lid on - then throw the coffee at you like a potato that is on fire.

The coffee is not only pretty - it tastes like liquid heaven.
(Psst, I hear their dirty chai is something to die for)

That sort of commitment and years of experience really shows in her products, and I always look forward to her Facebook posts to see what sort of latte art she's poured that day.

Harriet's also offers quick win breakfast items like home made muffins, fruit cups and the occasional chia puddings. If you have time to spare, fresh toasties and a friendly chat are on the cards.

Coffee prices are very reasonable for what you get - they start from $3.50 for an espresso shot and $7 for a iced coffee.

The other thing I really like about Harriet's is that they support a range of charities and good causes. There is always a donation box on the counter and Jules is an ambassador for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea.
Who doesn't like helping those in need with coffee?
