The Foreshore Restaurant and Cafe

The family and I are regulars here since it opened, we probably go once a fortnight on average. The location is the best part - it's right along the scenic walking track that runs all along the Nightcliff foreshore, hence the name of the cafe.

Lola's Pergola

During the day and provided some cool breezy weather, this is one of the most relaxing and chilled environments to hang out in. We often lose track of time when we are here on the weekends and several hours can easily pass by without us noticing. If you need to unwind one afternoon, head here.

Expectations were high, Darwin has been longing for a Korean BBQ restaurant and hunting one down is one of the first things I do when travelling out of Darwin. The wait is no more and now we finally have Little Miss Korea thanks to the team behind Seoul Food.

I'm always on the lookout for low key corner shop Chinese takeaway/restaurants and Golden Star in Wagaman is my latest conquest. Let's see if it can match long time favourite Hingston's.

Double Tree Hilton Aqua Restaurant

I always used to think that Hotel Restaurants were tourist traps, however I now realise how much humble pie I should be eating. There’s some seriously good food being served up in these places and being backed by a Hotel means they’re able to use the available resources to provide a great experience.

Doubletree Hilton's Poolside Restaurant

I'd really like to see Top Enders get past the awkwardness of walking through a hotel lobby and sitting in a restaurant filled with out-of-towners. I've found that these are the places where some of the most exciting, adventurous cooking is happening.
